Know who is on the contract.
Ask for the legal name of the purchasing entity, the people you’ll work with, and an explanation of their role.
If someone says they are a licensed professional, verify that claim with the relevant regulator. If a contract permits assignment, ask what that means for your transaction.
Check the proof behind the promise.
Request relevant references and read reviews in their original context. Look for recent experiences that resemble the kind of sale you are considering.
Ask about funding, deposits, conditions, and the proposed closing process. A large headline promise is not a substitute for specific written terms.
Keep your own support.
Choose a reputable title and escrow company. Consider having your own attorney review the agreement.
If you feel rushed, pause long enough to understand what you are signing and any applicable deadlines.
